After losing her job as a seamstress and having trouble to pay her bills at the end of the month, now, Frederique works as housekeeper in a gym where she became friends to a 10 year younger rapper, Ivy. The announcement of a rap battle tournament where the winner will win $3,000, will push her to make the feat to survive to this new exercise.

The Arena - season 2

Fred is unable to finish is thesis on Nietszsche. Out of money, he gets a job as the night-shift janitor in a 24h grocery store. Full of strange costumers and even stranger staff, the grocery store eventually helps Fred find what his real place might actually be.

Best Before

Viewers will join young Kyssara as she embarks on a journey of delicious delights, and see that cooking can be fun and easy! Kyssara introduces a few healthy and delicious recipes. She also ventures to new places in Alberta and British Columbia to learn more about supporting local businessess. It is a story of love, of community and of visual poetry, passed down through recipes.

Decolonizing History features 10 little-known chapters from Quebec and Canada’s history, told through the perspective of BIPOC communities and individuals. It is a unique way to discover insightful facts, historical characters and significant events. It is a first step towards better understanding, better awareness and building a collective history that includes all voices.

Young single mom Sophia takes custody of her teenaged daughter Kyrah. The two try to re-establish their mother-daughter relationship as they face the threat of eviction. An intimate portrait of a family in transition where nothing is a given and where determination and fate collide.

Good Intentions

Welcome to Good Intentions Coffee, an independent coffee shop located in a city neighbourhood in the midst of change. It’s going from rundown and sketchy to an overpriced hipster haven. At the centre of it all are Karen and Ray, Good Intentions’ two baristas, who are known by all the shop’s regulars. Whether it’s hipsters, yuppies, or the occasional undesirable, all of their regulars have the same morning routine: they stumble out of their overpriced apartments to come by the shop for their usual order. From there, their lives can take any number of infinite turns. It could be a chance meeting with an ex, a fight with a bike thief, or a haunted apartment viewing, it always starts with their morning coffee. Karen and Ray have their own routine; brew the coffee, and watch the disasters that are the regular’s lives unfold.

The Grind

Hogtown is a 7 episodes webseries. The story follows the journey of a single-parent family, coping with Toronto’s increasing housing precariousness. When Manuela,16, and her family are threatened to be evicted from their apartment by a real estate developer, she decides to fight back, in hopes of remaining in her neighbourhood.

Serie of 14 episodes (about 6 minutes each). Following the lockdown, Fred, a 40-year-old computer engineer, burned out. It’s LEIA program, an artificial intelligence life coach, that helps people get out of depression. While taking care of himself, he will try to sell his invention online.

Laurence is struggling to recover from the accidental death of Camille, her 6-year-old daughter. Her husband Daniel tries to help her, but he also has to grieve. As the first anniversary of her child's death approaches, Laurence begins to experience strange phenomena in the family home. She is convinced that her dead little girl is trying to communicate with her.

Sleep With Me

The first season of Teodore Without The H featured Teodore's character struggling with Attention Deficit Disorder (ADHD) while the second season features Agate, Teodore’s love interest, who has Generalized Anxiety Disorder. In the featured episode, we have access to the anxious thoughts that inhabit Agate as she believes she is witnessing the preparation of a surprise for her lover. When she discovers that the surprise is in fact for her, Agate collapses, the pressure of being able to live up to the expectations of the people she loves is too great to handle. The program is about overcoming our fears, anxieties and mental blockings. Through the use of comedy, the show gives a privileged access inside the brains of people living with anxiety and ADHD and hopes to help them deal with their angst with more humour, levity and positivity, and present solutions to these overwhelming feelings. While more than a quarter of the western world suffers from an anxiety-related disorder, viewers are sure to identify with the character of Agate.

Teodore Without The H - Season 2

Montreal, Quebec. An apartment building. Three rough childhoods collide. Mélissa, Eddy and Karine live in the same building and from a young age, they have to deal with an environment that crushes grown-ups. The hooker's corner, the violent neighbourhood, parents' debauchery parties, bad company, stealing to survive : for them, all this is quite normal, it's their life. Are their parents to blame? Or do they love the best they can? Are we all condemned to reproduce what we have known?
