Life On Set is an irreverent comedy about the making of a TV show, following a burgeoning youtube director, an aspiring but naive actress, a hick PA, and a creepy but clueless producer.
PAUL UPSHAW (PA) has dreamed his whole teenagehood of being a director and, according to his community college “professor” this is his chance. Paul pursues his passion and almost self manifests himself up the ranks, though it may not be for the best.
ROD ROBERTSON (Director), the famous-not-so-famous YouTube director uses this tv series as his chance to show the world how great he can be at directing—that is, according to the how-to guide he’s reading about directing.
PHILLIP "HOOP" JACKSON (Producer), the “probably produced porn before this” pompous producer, who got into the “biz” just to meet the “ladies”. He falls for the only actress he was able to cast, Catalina, and hopes to woo her within the duration of the show but seems to lack one key attribute: self-awareness.
CATALINA SCHLOTZSKY (Actress) is a very sweet girl who may be filming her last show, unless she figures out how to get an agent who doesn’t live in Wichita.
